📜 Zodiac RP — Terms of Service

Welcome to Zodiac RP.

These Terms of Service apply when accessing or using Zodiac RP, including our:

• FiveM server
• Discord community
• Website
• Store and purchased services
• Community events
• Other services operated by Zodiac RP

By accessing, joining, purchasing from, or otherwise using Zodiac RP services, you acknowledge and agree to follow these Terms of Service, the Zodiac RP Server Rules, the Zodiac RP Privacy Policy, and other applicable community policies.

If you do not agree with these terms, you should not use Zodiac RP services.

1️⃣ Acceptance of Terms

By connecting to the Zodiac RP FiveM server, joining the Zodiac RP Discord, using our website, or purchasing products or services associated with the community, you acknowledge that you have read and agreed to follow:

• These Terms of Service
• Zodiac RP Server Rules
• Zodiac RP Privacy Policy
• Applicable faction or department rules
• Applicable platform policies

Players are responsible for remaining aware of current rules and policies.

Claiming that you did not read or know about a rule does not automatically excuse a violation.

2️⃣ Eligibility

To use Zodiac RP services:

1. You must meet the minimum age requirements established by Zodiac RP and the platforms used to access our services.

2. Your Discord, FiveM / Cfx.re, Rockstar, Steam, and other applicable accounts must comply with their respective platform requirements.

3. You may not intentionally provide false information when information is required for:

• Whitelist applications
• Staff applications
• Support requests
• Purchases
• Appeals
• Account verification

4. Impersonating another player, staff member, community representative, or other individual is prohibited.

Violation of eligibility requirements may result in restriction or removal from Zodiac RP.

3️⃣ Server Rules & Community Conduct

All players are required to follow the Zodiac RP Server Rules while participating in the community.

Players must:

• Treat other community members with reasonable respect
• Respect staff members performing official duties
• Follow roleplay rules
• Follow moderation instructions
• Use official support and appeal channels when necessary

The following behavior is prohibited:

• Harassment
• Discrimination
• Hate speech
• Cheating
• Exploitation
• Ban evasion
• Abuse of bugs or game mechanics
• Malicious disruption of the server
• Attempts to bypass moderation actions

Punishments may vary depending on the severity, circumstances, intent, and disciplinary history involved.

4️⃣ Roleplay Standards

Zodiac RP is a semi-serious roleplay community.

Players are expected to participate in fair, immersive, and meaningful roleplay.

The following are prohibited where defined by the Zodiac RP Server Rules:

• RDM
• VDM
• Metagaming
• Powergaming
• FailRP
• Combat logging
• Exploiting
• Unrealistic escalation
• Intentional disruption of active scenes

Characters and storylines must remain within server rules and reasonable roleplay standards.

Players should prioritize creating good roleplay rather than simply attempting to “win” every interaction.

5️⃣ Accounts & Account Security

You are responsible for maintaining the security of accounts you use to access Zodiac RP.

This may include:

• Discord
• FiveM / Cfx.re
• Rockstar Games
• Steam
• Tebex
• Other connected services

You are responsible for activity performed through your accounts unless Zodiac RP determines that the account was legitimately compromised.

Do not intentionally share account access for the purpose of:

• Avoiding bans
• Transferring characters
• Claiming purchased benefits improperly
• Circumventing restrictions
• Impersonating another user

Suspected account compromises should be reported through the official Zodiac RP ticket system.

6️⃣ Characters, Progress & Virtual Property

All in-game characters, vehicles, currency, inventory, properties, businesses, progression, and other virtual content exist within the Zodiac RP server environment.

These may be:

• Modified
• Balanced
• Removed
• Replaced
• Reset
• Wiped

when reasonably necessary due to:

• Server updates
• Economy balancing
• Bug fixes
• Exploits
• Database problems
• Rule violations
• Server restructuring
• Technical failures
• Major version changes

Zodiac RP does not guarantee permanent availability of any particular:

• Character
• Vehicle
• Property
• Item
• Business
• Currency balance
• Progression level

Virtual items and currency should not be treated as real-world property or guaranteed financial value.

7️⃣ Purchases, Packages & Monetization

Purchases associated with Zodiac RP must be made through the official purchasing methods provided by Zodiac RP.

Where applicable, purchases may be processed through Tebex.

Purchased packages may include things such as:

• Cosmetic items
• Approved vehicles
• Clothing
• VIP benefits
• Character-related perks
• Other permitted digital benefits

A purchase does not provide:

• Immunity from server rules
• Immunity from staff punishment
• Preferential moderation treatment
• Ownership of the server
• Authority over staff or players

Purchased benefits may be removed if they are:

• Obtained fraudulently
• Abused
• Exploited
• Used in violation of server rules
• Removed or restricted due to applicable platform requirements

8️⃣ Refunds & Purchase Issues

Digital purchases are subject to the terms of the payment provider used to process the transaction and any rights required by applicable law.

Purchases should generally be considered final once the applicable digital goods or benefits have been delivered, except where a refund is required or otherwise permitted.

Being:

• Warned
• Suspended
• Banned
• Removed from a faction
• Removed from a department
• Otherwise disciplined for violating server rules

does not automatically entitle a player to compensation or a refund for previously delivered purchases.

If a purchased item is not delivered correctly, players should open a Zodiac RP support ticket with the relevant transaction information.

9️⃣ Chargebacks & Payment Disputes

If you believe there is an issue with a purchase, contact the appropriate support channel before initiating a payment dispute whenever reasonably possible.

Fraudulent payment activity may result in:

• Suspension of purchased benefits
• Account investigation
• Restriction from Zodiac RP services
• Other action permitted by applicable platform policies

Legitimate payment disputes will be handled through the applicable payment provider.

🔟 Staff Authority & Moderation

Zodiac RP staff members are appointed to maintain:

• Community standards
• Fair gameplay
• Server stability
• Player safety
• Roleplay quality

Depending on the circumstances, staff may issue:

• Verbal warnings
• Written warnings
• Kicks
• Comms
• In-game fines
• Character wipes
• Inventory wipes
• Temporary suspensions
• Permanent bans
• Other reasonable corrective actions

Moderation decisions should be addressed through the appropriate ticket or appeal process.

Players may not harass staff members, disrupt active roleplay, or create OOC arguments in-city because they disagree with a moderation decision.

1️⃣1️⃣ Staff Conduct

Staff members are also expected to follow Zodiac RP policies.

Staff authority may not be intentionally abused for:

• Personal conflicts
• Faction advantages
• Financial advantages
• Retaliation
• Preferential treatment
• Harassment

Reports concerning staff conduct should be submitted through the appropriate Zodiac RP reporting system.

Staff-related complaints will be reviewed by the appropriate leadership team.

1️⃣2️⃣ Streaming, Recording & Content Creation

Zodiac RP supports community content creation and streaming.

By participating in the server, you acknowledge that gameplay interactions may be:

• Recorded
• Livestreamed
• Clipped
• Screenshotted
• Uploaded to social media
• Included in other community content

This may include your:

• Character
• In-game voice
• Vehicle
• Actions
• Roleplay interactions

Players may create content involving Zodiac RP provided that doing so does not violate:

• Server rules
• Applicable platform rules
• Privacy requirements
• Applicable laws

Players may not use content creation as an excuse to:

• Metagame
• Stream snipe
• Harass other players
• Reveal confidential staff information
• Intentionally expose security systems or exploits

1️⃣3️⃣ Exploits & Security Issues

Players who discover an exploit, duplication method, security vulnerability, or serious server bug should report it to Zodiac RP staff.

Players may not knowingly:

• Abuse an exploit
• Distribute exploit instructions
• Sell exploit information
• Use exploits to generate currency or items
• Use exploits to gain an unfair advantage
• Intentionally damage server systems

Reporting an exploit does not authorize you to repeatedly test or abuse it without staff permission.

Serious exploitation may result in permanent removal from the community.

1️⃣4️⃣ Service Availability

Zodiac RP does not guarantee uninterrupted or permanent access to its services.

The FiveM server, website, Discord features, or other services may experience:

• Restarts
• Maintenance
• Updates
• Technical problems
• Database failures
• Hosting outages
• Temporary shutdowns
• Scheduled or emergency downtime

Zodiac RP may modify, temporarily suspend, replace, or discontinue features or services when necessary.

Advance notice may not always be possible.

1️⃣5️⃣ Server Changes & Wipes

Zodiac RP may make changes to:

• Server rules
• Economy systems
• Vehicles
• Weapons
• Jobs
• Businesses
• Factions
• Maps
• Scripts
• Inventory items
• Character systems
• Other server content

Updates may sometimes require:

• Economy resets
• Character resets
• Inventory resets
• Vehicle changes
• Property changes
• Other server-wide adjustments

Reasonable efforts may be made to preserve player progression, but preservation cannot be guaranteed.

1️⃣6️⃣ Termination or Suspension of Access

Zodiac RP may temporarily or permanently restrict access when a player violates:

• These Terms of Service
• Server Rules
• Community policies
• Applicable platform policies

Access may also be restricted to protect:

• The server
• Other players
• Staff members
• Community infrastructure
• Security systems

Serious violations may result in immediate removal.

Where permitted by Zodiac RP policy, eligible moderation actions may be challenged through the official appeal process.

1️⃣7️⃣ Ban Evasion

Attempting to bypass a Zodiac RP suspension or ban is prohibited.

Ban evasion may include:

• Using alternate Discord accounts
• Using alternate FiveM accounts
• Using another person's account
• Hiding or changing identifiers to avoid detection
• Having another person access the server on your behalf

Ban evasion may result in additional or permanent restrictions.

1️⃣8️⃣ Third-Party Services

Zodiac RP depends on services operated by third parties.

These may include:

• FiveM / Cfx.re
• Rockstar Games
• Discord
• Tebex
• Steam
• Hosting providers
• Anti-cheat providers

Zodiac RP does not control the availability, policies, or independent operation of these third-party services.

Access to Zodiac RP may be affected if one of these services experiences downtime, changes its policies, or restricts your account.

1️⃣9️⃣ Limitation of Responsibility

Zodiac RP services are provided on an as-available basis.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Zodiac RP is not responsible for losses resulting solely from circumstances such as:

• Server crashes
• Technical failures
• Database corruption
• Service outages
• Third-party platform failures
• Server wipes
• Lost virtual currency
• Lost virtual items
• Lost character progression
• Disputes between players

Nothing in these Terms is intended to remove rights or protections that cannot legally be excluded.

2️⃣0️⃣ Changes to These Terms

Zodiac RP may update these Terms of Service when reasonably necessary.

Changes may be made because of:

• Server updates
• Policy changes
• Platform requirements
• Security concerns
• Community changes
• Operational requirements

When significant changes occur, the Last Updated date may be changed and an announcement may be posted through official Zodiac RP channels.

Continued use of Zodiac RP after updated Terms become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

2️⃣1️⃣ Relationship With Platform Policies

Zodiac RP operates using third-party platforms including FiveM / Cfx.re and Rockstar Games services.

Nothing in these Terms overrides the rules, agreements, or requirements imposed by those platforms.

If a Zodiac RP policy conflicts with a mandatory platform requirement, the applicable platform requirement takes priority.
